Cash Gifting Is Dead

Cash gifting programs used to abound on the internet. YouTube was over-run with videos of people opening UPS envelopes full of cash. What happened? Did they get shut down?

Only one program thus far was officially shut down, by the SEC. Prosperity Automated System, reportedly very lucrative, was closed due to the fact they were making large return on investment claims to its members.

So what happened? Some programs were bought out by others. Some programs declined because the majority of members moved over to a better-designed competing cash gifting program. Thus, there have remained a few, namely TLC-3000, Perfect Gift Plan, Abundant Living System (ALS), ProfusionX and The People’s Program.

TLC does not allow for internet marketing. They don’t provide a personal website but there is an annual fee of $120 for the tracking system nevertheless. If you like to make calls and direct people to a conference call, then TLC is for you. It is also a 1-up gifting program, requiring you to give your first gift up to your sponsor. You can probably do direct mail if you don’t mention their name in your advertising.

The Perfect Gift Plan, based in the Cayman Islands, works using a 2 x 2 matrix system, very much MLM-style. When you bring in two people, those people gift to you and to the person above you, and so on. It also provides a replicated website, thus all members receive the same site, which can be marketed online, via pay-per-click and other online advertising methods. Note, there is no information regarding training or mentoring mentioned on their website. There is a $99.95 yearly “licensing fee.”

Abundant Living System based in Utah has been around since July 2008
